enjoyable vs. harmful!

Are you one of people who like hunting? do you enjoy this activity? Hunting is a known activity in Lebanon, we always see many people waiting its time to enjoy it. They spend all day in the forests waiting any bird or animal to come, then kill it!
We heard many time that hunting is forbidden in Lebanon and that severe actions will be taken with people who still go for hunting. But unfortunately nothing is going on and no actions are taken to  punish those people. Everyone knows that hunting is a very harmful activity  that affects negatively out nature and our animal environment. However, hunting dangerous animals such as pigs is needed to save our agriculture but we should be aware of what kind of animals and birds we are killing especially that most birds are needed to protect the environment.
So, u can enjoy your best activity but be aware and responsible in saving your nature.

 

Matté

Do you now the Matté? Do you try to drink it?
Matté is a hot drink which contain hot water and the plant of Matté. Many people used to drink it many times per day because it lets them feel more comfortable in addition to enjoying drinking Matté as we enjoy drinking coffee or tea with in a group or with our friends.
In fact, the Matté drink is not for having an amazing break with others. But, it has many positive effects on our health:

•  it  facilitate in the digestion process
• it help us relax
• it decrease the stress and fatigue
• it gives us energy 
• it helps us loose weight 
• decreases the headache

Actually, it is beneficial to now such information. But we should be aware always and try to not drink Matté a lot during a day and avoid drinking it when it is very hot because that affects our health negatively.
So enjoy you time with the Matté drink in your meeting with your friends. it is amazing!

   

TV programs

Nowadays, media invades all regions in the world and all people spend most oft their times watching TV, using internet, playing games, or chatting.
But an important topic should be discussed to see its effects which is the TV programs and their influence on our children.
Many parents let their children spend a lot of time watching TV. But, are they aware of what kind of programs they are watching, and what behavior they learn? We all now that most of TV channels show different programs, films, and series that contain violence, war, blood, conflicts, or betrayal shows and many other topics that should not be seen by kids. And if we think that cartoons are beneficial, so for sure we are mistaken because even cartoons teach our kids dangerous values such as lying, fraud, stealing and many different bad habits. Here, it is the role and responsibility of parents to supervise their kids, choose the best for them, and save them from the TV addiction and the waste of time to learn bad values.
If our children spend their time doing activities with us, it will be much better than watching TV programs. Save their morals and their health.

What is their Fault?

A phenomenon that appears in most regions of the world, reflects the corruption in societies, and affects negatively the future of many people. Children labor is a very danger phenomenon which threatens the societies and shows the retardation and ignorance of governments.
Every day we see them in the streets begging, washing cars, selling gums or tissues, searching for food in containers, suffering from diseases, or even sleeping.
Is this the right place where children supposed to be at? and their families, schools, friends?? how can they learn and grow in such environment? how can they get their needs and rights?
We are not aware of what happens to those kids who don't now how to smile. i think that it is urgent to do some initiative to save the future generation and help them live a normal life and adapt in the social life. it is the role of the government and responsible people.
We should ensure a safe place for them in order to let them ensure a safe future for the country.  It is the time to raise our voice.

 

He and She

Gender equality is foremost a human right. Do women live with freedom and peace?
Unfortunately, discrimination against women remain the most harmful form of inequality. Income disparity, Human capital, Social status, economic inequity, gender violence and many other forms of suppression are causes that all women, especially Arab women, are suffering from.
What is the cause of such view towards women? i believe that a lack of awareness leads us to see the women as a weak part. But why?
She has potentials, abilities, awareness, intelligence, and good management. She can think and control, solve problems and troubles, and aspires for improvements and success. 
It is clear that women have the ability to be leaders and occupy positions and they deserve to have the opportunity to prove their potentials. We are not fighting to control and dominate, we just want to get our rights and to feel that we can do something beneficial to our societies.
Finally, women rise children and future generations and sacrifice a lot. so we are effective human and we will fight to achieve our goals.

Education, Our Savior

Education is a deep science due to the comprehensive knowledge that it offers. Everyone can understand the importance of education and its value through the interests of many philosophers and researchers in this domain from ancient time and the initiatives ti improve the levels, methods, tools, and programs of education and all issues related to it. 

When we say education, we think first about its numerous sources. Everything can teach us something is an educational source. I believe that our family is the first source that we start learning from. Also we can learn values and rules from our religion, academic and moral stuff from academic institutions, traditions and values from our societies, interaction and culture from media, and many other issues from many other sources.

So education and learning are available everywhere at any time, it is our role to receive them, to choose what is beneficial to us, and get rid of harmful and useless issues.

 It is our duty to control ourselves, to work seriously to gain something from the fountain of knowledge and become aware and effective people.  

The Holy Mission

Academic institutions are one of the places where child's future is shape. They are considered as the child's second family due to their essential role in the educational process.
And when we say academic institutions, we automatically mean the group of educators that work always.
Teachers in schools play the role of parents of the students, they have many jobs to do. But do all teachers work in a right way? are all teachers the ideal sources that we can trust?
Teaching is not only a job to get money, it is humanitarian mission which requires a serious work. So teachers should have some characteristics that reflect their success:

• they should be competent and have a great knowledge and culture about what the teach
• they should know how to deal with students
• they must create a protective and professional environment in the classrooms
• teachers have to know their classes and students and use the best methods, technologies, and activities that they see them beneficial
• they should be a classroom supporters and work as facilitator and mentor
• teachers should teach students academic and moral values and know their abilities in order to help them improve their weakness 
• they should give affection and attention in order to take respect and regards from students
• ideal teachers have to set themselves as role models for upcoming teachers 
• they should be learners by updating their knowledge because education is a lifelong process and requires a continual improvement
• teachers should love their careers in order to success    

finally, teachers are examples that students consider to behave, so they should be the persons who van be trusted and the relationship between teacher and student should be like a fish and water not like a fish and a fisherman. 

Optimism, The Way To Happiness

   What does life means? How people see it? And how they deal with it and its obstacles?
Many people view their life as a painful experience fill of depression, failure, sadness, tears, death, and bad moments. Others view it as a palace of happiness and dreams. Here the difference between people appears.

   I see life as a box of gifts, whether they are nice or bad gifts. We can create happiness, live worthy moments, do amazing activities, discover new things, learn worthy issues and lessons so that for sure will help us deal with problems and know how to solve them. Life is a school where we learn always so it is our role to be aware and know how to make it beautiful and meaningful. It is normal that we may face troubles, but with our awareness and faith we can overcome anything. It is not easy to make ourselves positive but we can try and start with simple things and that was what I learned when I read the Secret book and watched its film because it helped me a lot and still affecting me and giving me the power to control myself and strengthen my weakness. So I think everyone must read it and must see the world from an optimistic view.

   We are born to be happy, and we have the key of that happiness so be positive and spread the positive aim to others. The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts so make it a habit.

Whatsapp

Technologies invade our life in a high degree when we spend almost all our days using them.  When we talk about technologies we should mention the smartphones that become an urgent need in everyone’s life, they becomes our best buddies. The use of these technologies is very beneficial so we can communicate easily and faster especially with the applications available.

When talking about applications, we remember the most common and famous one which is Whatsapp, it has one purpose which is communication. Whatsapp permits us communicate with each other for free using Internet network how far the distance between us is. So it is a beneficial tool to some extent but we should not forget its disadvantages and danger on our social life.

Nowadays, our life witnesses a very danger social phenomenon. All of us adults, young, and even kids spend all the day chatting and ignore many other activities that we can or should do. When we forget all people around us it means that there is a problem. So the overuse of these kinds of applications makes our relation with our parents and family became weak, forces us to ignore our duties and homework, and decreases our direct interaction with others. In addition to what it causes from pressure of having to communicate which may decrease dramatically, to the chance or the possibility of misconception that may occur because without the help of the body language, it is easy to misinterpret a text message.

Using applications is useful we should be careful. If you want a good conversation, just meet up and talk face to face because it still the best way to communicate and do not permit Whatsapp and other tools to control you, steal you from your environment, and kill our sincere social life.

    The webinar which i attended was titled "Tuning into Kids - Parents Teaching Emotional Intelligence" presented by Yvette Vignando. I preferred this webinar because it highlights the most important issues in every parents' life such as the relation with their children, the right and ideal way in dealing with children, some methods to solve our problems, how to manage our feelings and also the importance of encouraging our kids to express their emotions and feelings, work and push kids to interact in social situations, how to manage our reactions avoiding anger and violence, etc.  So this webinar showed us the necessity to be aware with our relation with kids because they are sensible, they need support and help and sometimes they can not decide and feel disappointed. childhood is a very important period to help children build a strong personality and start thinking in a smart way. In addition for the help that this webinar gave to all teacher that work with kids because education affect the kid's personality a lot.  For that reason i believed that we should work hard to know more and more how to live happy with our kids that always need our care.
